Åland is exotic yet close. In an archipelago consisting of 6,700 named islands and a further 20,000 smaller islands, there is much to discover and enjoy. The success Åland Around which is now being organized for the eighth time combines several of these experiences - come along and cycle this weekend 30 -31 May 2026!
Åland Around is not a race but more of an experience in the style of Gotland 360. The event is created to have fun with people who love cycling and enjoying life. We live fantastically nicely in bungalows by the sea. We eat very good food, you can get a massage, swim in the hot tub, sauna and pool. For dinner on Saturday we will listen to an exciting lecture about Åland. We will have lunch in beautiful places, including Havsvidden with incredible views of the Baltic Sea. Another appreciated feature is the very special bicycle ferry, just that is a unique experience in itself.
Road and/or Gravel
You can choose whether you want to cycle on the road or gravel, or why not try both? We have paved gravel roads in Åland, and they are fantastic, so now there are even more reasons to cycle in Åland.

We live at Käringsund Resort, a fantastic facility directly by the sea.
At the main building there is a pool, several hot tubs and a really lovely sauna.
We have breakfast Saturday and Sunday and a much-appreciated barbecue buffet on Saturday evening.

We travel with the Eckerö line, the fastest boat journey between Sweden (Grisslehamn) and Åland (Eckerö).
If you want, you can park the car in Grisslehamn and cycle over. It is only a few km to Käringsund
