Welcome to a fantastic weekend with Gravel in Skåne

A trip on Skåne's best dirt roads. Start and finish in Åhus on the east coast. We start close to the coast, the pearls of Österlen, Skanör Falsterbo, Smygehuk, Ale Stenar etc. The first night is spent in Ystad and the second in Malmö. From there we find our way back to Åhus along winding roads, but forests and open fields.

What can you expect?
We cycle to have fun, there are no intervals and it is not about cycling the fastest but having the best experience. If you want to splurge, it's of course fine, you wait further on. We may also split the group, if it turns out to be better. Our Guides have a lot of experience in arranging and holding these tours.

Saturday (123km/ 740hm)
Start in Åhus. We follow the coast down on a mixture of gravel and asphalt. Today's biggest challenge will be Stenshuvud, where we will also have a coffee. Lunch in classic Simrishamn before we continue west. After Skillinge it will be a beach down to Sandhammaren, the famous beach, maybe an ice cream there? We continue towards Kåseberga & Ale Stenar. There will be undulating slopes and some lifting. One place more amazing than the other. The destination for the day is Ystad. Dinner and sleep will be fine.

Sunday (150km/611hm)
We continue west partly on asphalt near the water and gravel a bit inland. We will have lunch in Smygehuk, Sweden's southernmost point. We round Gislöv's beach park and Trelleborg on our way to today's highlight, Skanör Falsterbo. Absolutely amazing place! Strengthened by a coffee, we then follow the coast up towards Malmö, where we spend the night.

Monday (143km/1,060 hm) – Scania Divide
Now the tour changes character, we leave the coast and drive through Scania's plains. We eat lunch halfway through the day and, tired but satisfied, we reach Åhus again. We start on tarmac from Malmö and today's first destination, Bokskogen by Ydingesjön. We continue down into the forests south of Holmeja towards classic Häckeberga. Lunch at Torna Hällestad Lanthandel will sit nicely. Today's ascent directly after leads us further towards Degerberga and then finally back to Åhus.

We cycle according to Grusets Vänner's principles.
* No one is left alone.
* Sprint or peel off if you like but let the group catch up again
* We take care of and help each other in case of mechanival issues.
* We bike safely and keep our distance, remember the "three second rule" especially on gravel.
* It's all about having the nicest of days.
