Welcome to a fantastic weekend with Gravel in Småland

When: 13-14 August 2022.
Where: Vetlanda – Småland
How: Gravel camp on fantastic gravel roads
Stay: You arrange your own accommodation in Vetlanda, for example.

We will cycle two lovely rounds, eat well and have coffee even better.

What can you expect?
We cycle to have fun, there are no intervals and it is not about cycling the fastest but having the best experience. If you want to splurge, it's of course fine, you wait further on. We may also split the group, if it turns out to be better. Our Guides have a lot of experience in arranging and holding these tours.


Saturday (128km / 1560 hm alt. 88km / 1,101 hm)
Småland's deep forests, Lönneberga and Marielund. This is quite a tough round but stunningly beautiful. We have lunch at Astrid's in Lönneberga, maybe in Emil's Boa? The way home offers some serious climbs before we return to Vetlanda where we eat a better dinner together.

If you want to shorten the day somewhat, there is a bail here. It starts after Karlstorp and goes north 7km to rejoin the route there. The course with Bail will be 88km and 1,101 hm.

Sunday (94km / 1,001 hm)
We go West. At first along water and then through forest and open cultural landscapes. After 55km we have lunch in Sävsjö. We will return to Vetlanda for the journey home.

We cycle according to Grusets Vänner's principles.
* No one is left alone.
* Sprint or peel off if you like but let the group catch up again
* We take care of and help each other in case of mechanival issues.
* We bike safely and keep our distance, remember the "three second rule" especially on gravel.
* It's all about having the nicest of days.
