The west coast of Jutland is magically beautiful, cycling usually takes place with the sea as a neighbor. We enjoy what Denmark has to offer, beauty, sandwiches, beer and more. We don't have a car so we have what we need on the bikes. Staying in a hotel/cottage means that you don't need to bring so much stuff with you.

Schedule
We may modify if weather and other reasons cause us to do so.
Thursday Travel day
Transportation to Fredrikshavn
Friday 110 km Fredrikshavn – Nibe
We start the morning in Frederikshavn and roll past Palmestranden as our first waypoint. The route then heads south along the Kattegat coastline all the way down to Hals.

In Hals we take the ferry across the Limfjord to reach the other side. The tour continues inland via Gudumholm where we enjoy a lunch of Danish smørrebrød. Full and satisfied, we pass through Aalborg before setting our sights on the day’s final destination – the monastic community of Nibe, where we park our bikes and have a well-deserved cold beer after a long day in the saddle.
Saturday 130 km Nibe -> Tornby Strand
We leave Nibe and head along the western edge of the Limfjord towards the legendary Svinkløv Badehotel. Here we stop for a classic Danish lunch in a historic setting.

Full and satisfied, we turn inland towards Aabybro. There we visit the local dairy to try their famous old-fashioned ice cream. The journey continues north where we pass the lighthouse at Blokhus on the way up to Tornby Strand. The day is rounded off at Tornby Hotel where we have dinner while the sun sets into the sea.

Sunday 100 km Tornby Strand Skagen Fredrikshavn.
Today's stage takes us past Hirtshals and on through the spruce forests up towards Råbjerg Mile and Den Tilsandede Kirke. Once in Skagen we stop for lunch at the classic Brøndums Hotel.

We also head out to Grenen to dip our toes where the Kattegat and Skagerrak meet. The tour ends with cycling along the coast in the afternoon sun back to the starting point in Frederikshavn.
(If you want, you can cut it short and go home on Sunday.)
Monday Travel day
Back to Stockholm
We cycle according to INZAIN's principles.
We cycle to have fun, there are no intervals and it's not about cycling the fastest but about getting the best experience. If you want to go for a run, that's fine of course, you can wait a bit longer.
* No one is left alone, everyone must join
* The bounce is going well, wait until later
* We take care of and help each other in case of punks or other things.
* We cycle safely and keep our distance, remember the three second rule.
* It's all about having a pleasant experience.
