Åland is exotic yet close. In an archipelago consisting of 6,700 named islands and a further 20,000 smaller islands, there is much to discover and enjoy. The success Åland Around which is now being organized for the seventh time combines several of these experiences - come along and cycle this weekend 31 August-1 September 2024!
Åland Around is not a race but more of an experience in the style of Gotland 360. The event is non-profit and created to have fun with people who love cycling and enjoying life.
Road and/or Gravel
You can choose whether you want to cycle road or gravel or why not try both? We raked the dirt roads on Åland in 2023 and they are fantastic, so now there are even more reasons to cycle on Åland.
Part of the participation fee goes to Doctors Without Borders via Team Without Borders collection.

We live at Käringsund Resort, a fantastic facility directly by the sea.
At the main building there is a pool, several hot tubs and a really lovely sauna.
We have breakfast Saturday and Sunday and a much-appreciated barbecue buffet on Saturday evening.

We travel with the Eckerö line, the fastest boat journey between Sweden (Grisslehamn) and Åland (Eckerö).
If you want, you can park the car in Grisslehamn and cycle over. It is only a few km to Käringsund
