GBS Wheels Classics

GBS Gravel Wheels

There are a number of variants, CLASSIC, WAWE, & WIDE

CLASSIC are the ultimate all-round wheels, WAVE has a modern wave shape with aerodynamic advantages.
WIDE are 32mm wide internally, perfect for wide gravel tires, 42mm and up.
WAWE has a modern aero shape, perfect if you like to ride fast.

You build the wheels you want by choosing the rim, hub and driver.

There are several types of hubs and drivers to choose from for the gear system you have on your bike.

About Dimensions

Height is how high the rim is, (or depth if you prefer). Large height (H) is considered more aerodynamic. However, we mainly think it looks pretty cool. Width (B) refers to the outer width of the rim. Inner width (IB) is the width on the inside. The wider, the more your tire will swell. A new trend on Gravel wheels is large inner width, (like WIDE for example)

Driver

Many people wonder about this and Shimano hasn't made it really easy to keep up. But here's the thing.
If you drive 10/11 split OR have Shimano GRX 2×12 then you should choose Shimano 11sp (Which is Hyperglide, or HG). However, if you drive Shimano MTB or GRX 1×12 you should choose Shimano 12spMicrospline instead.
