Stockholm Cycling

Stockholm has a fantastic range of Gravel roads. Many of them can be reached directly from the city core. We at INZAIN have created 500+ routes around Sweden and are the country's foremost experts on gravel. We have put together a week of fun, exciting and beautiful tours. At many of them you will be able to join your partner for lunch or coffee if you wish.

We are experts in Gravel, and service. Regardless of whether you bring your own bike or use the one we provide, our staff will help with assembly, maintenance, washing and transport. Our guides ensure that every tour is both an adventure and that safety is the focus. Our vans are available for those who need them and carry both tools, energy and spare bikes. We do everything to ensure that your experience is of the highest quality.

For all tours, we keep the group together, we ride safely and focus on experience rather than speed, even if a splash or two goes just fine. If it proves appropriate, we can divide the group into two different speed groups.

We have a companion car that is never far away, both lunch and a coffee stop are planned. Our guides are extremely experienced and can solve most problems that may arise. We film and take photos diligently, there are good memories afterwards that we let all participants share.

Well before arrival we send our famous Riders Guide, it is a document that describes in detail the routes with length, altitude meters, places to eat and much more. A goldmine of information. The rider's guide also contains the route itself, which can be downloaded in several different file formats if you want it on your bike computer or phone.

Stockholm is rightly called the Venice of the Nordics, water in the form of both lakes and seas is always close.

During June and July, the days are long, with only a few hours of darkness, something we will take advantage of for those who want to experience Solstice cycling.

The gravel tours

Day one Mälaren's South Shore

We will follow Mälaren's southern shore. The road winds for several miles right next to the water.

For many, this is a favorite as it is very beautiful, car-free and undulating.

We pass lighthouses, cafes and many nice places.

Shortly after Norsborg we arrive at Stureholm Castle where we eat lunch.

We continue the tour, which now takes on a different character, we pass farms, fields and nice places before we get to classic ones Sundby Gård for an afternoon coffee.

With bellies filled with coffee and maybe a cinnamon roll, we roll the last miles through Erstavik before being transported by boat to our resort.

Day Two – Utö

A fantastic day with archipelago gravel. We will be transported to an island in the archipelago and cycle 6-10 miles depending on desire.

We will have lunch at an inn and for those who wish, partners who do not cycle can meet up to eat it together.

The cycling is often close to the sea and we can promise many interesting places.

Day 3 – The Mälar Islands

Today the tour goes out to Färensö in Mälaren and on to Birka, the capital of the Vikings.

Even today, partners who do not cycle will be able to meet at Birka for lunch.

Day 3 Night cycling
In the evening there is the possibility of an extra adventure. Cycling in Swedish summer night.
We will be transported to the starting point and then cycle to a magical place where we will have food, coffee and sunset.

We cycle a bit more, and then get picked up for transport to the hotel, the rest day will feel much needed.

Day 4 rest day

A much needed rest day.

Stockholm has so much to discover and we offer several activities such as sailing, RIB boat to the archipelago, shopping and museums, or maybe just hanging out by the pool?

If you want to explore the city on your own, we can arrange transport, it's only a few minutes to the city.

If you want, it is of course fine to cycle, our guides have many routes to offer.

If you have special requests, we will do our utmost to satisfy them.

Change from resort to castle

In the afternoon we will all change accommodation to our castle, which is located north of Stockholm, (read more under accommodation).
Our staff takes care of the transport of bicycles and luggage, you travel easily and comfortably in our comfortable bus.

Day 5 Knivsta

The tour starts directly from our castle and leads us around Uppland. Open fields, forest and some short stretches of easy single-track make this a really nice day.

We will cycle several sections that are part of the famous Höstgruset, a charity event held in autumn

As usual, we eat lunch and coffee in really nice places.

Day 6 Sigtuna and Skokloster

A trip to Sigtuna and Skokloster. The roads are beautiful and easy to cycle, although there are some hills.

Both Skokloster and Sigtuna are interesting places with rich history. Among other things, we will have coffee at classic Tant Brun.

In the evening it is time to pack the bikes before the farewell dinner. Our knowledgeable staff helps with laundry and packing.
