Vättern Runt på Grus, an absolutely fantastic way to cycle around the lake. Beautiful views, tough slopes and wonderful cycling.
The event premiered in 2023 and was a resounding success. The sequel in 2024 was even better.
Now in its third year, we've honed the event. You don't want to miss this.
The event goes around Lake Vättern, but on gravel roads. More beautiful, hillier and without cars. We stay in a hotel/hostel with breakfast. Lunch, coffee and dinners are paid for by you. We arrange dinners in both Jönköping and Motala, but it is completely optional if you want to join.
The course is 450 km and has 4,500 meters of elevation gain, with 85% gravel road. We cycle about 150 km per day.
INZAIN has a support car that can support if the bike or cyclist needs help. Your luggage will also travel in the cars. When you arrive at the accommodation, it will be waiting for you. So you don't need to carry all your luggage on your bike.

INZAIN has a support vehicle that can help with a broken bike or tired cyclist. Your bag will also be transported there.
The accompanying vehicle has tools and some spare parts. You should of course bring things with you to be able to fix a puncture.

About Vättern
Vättern is a long, narrow and deep lake located in southern Sweden. It is located between Västergötland and Östergötland. Vättern is Sweden's second largest lake and the sixth largest lake in Europe.
The VätternRundan(tm) is the world's largest Gran Fondo and goes around the lake but on asphalt.
There are many places along our round with magnificent views of Lake Vättern.
