COFFEE
What is coffee?
Coffee is part of Swedish culture, a phenomenon that many Swedes have a relationship with and reflects a certain mentality. Having coffee is a ritual where the meeting and the social exchange are the focus, a way to socialize together with one or more people. Not having coffee is not completely accepted by everyone, and it may happen that you look askance at such a person. Common accessories at coffee parties are cinnamon buns, sponge cake and various types of cookies. Sometimes the pastries can be replaced by a sandwich or fruit.
